Bog9y Posted January 18, 2022 Posted January 18, 2022 I noticed that high drag bombs still land 100 mtrs or so from the aiming point when in a 10 degree dive and even level delivery. Is ED looking at this? Currently HD bombs are not usable unless you dont mind them landing long.
Flappie Posted January 25, 2022 Posted January 25, 2022 Which aircraft? Which HD bomb? Which firing mode? Please provide a track. ---

Backsoon Posted January 29, 2022 Posted January 29, 2022 I have experienced the same problem. I only fly the Viper. Laserguided bombs hit smack right, but GPS bombs guided by TGP hits short of target - in my case. Today I flew a testmission with one of my M8's and we observed something really stange. He dropped a JDAM with the TGP and he saw the bomb hit in front of the T90 only damaging it, but I saw the bomb hit on top of the turret and the tank obliviated - I was following the bomb via F6. Try to explain that! The attached pic is a screenshot from my M8- you can see that the bomb impacted short of the T90 and TGP crosshair spot on the vehicle. The target was static. Regards Bo "BOS"
