gcrimmins Posted January 30, 2022 Posted January 30, 2022 Hi all, Recently upgraded to Quest 2 from Rift S, using cable running an RTX 3070. I have gone from a great VR experience, to not being able to get past the homescreen because of lag. Does anyone know why this might be? Rendering from Oculus home at 1.0 RR at 90hz & 72 Hz, nothing works. Is there something I am doing wrong?

gcrimmins Posted January 30, 2022 Author Posted January 30, 2022 looks worse than i was before though, where do i change that? super strange, i think its a DCS directory problem, the game was stored on my E: and i downloaded one of the mod installers earlier which has since deleted DCS from that Directory weirdly enough, removed the home icon too. Is there a way to see where DCS is located or where it is reading it from?>
Eldur Posted February 1, 2022 Posted February 1, 2022 Have you tried AirLink instead just to see if it's maybe related to the cable Link? Also, get Oculus Tray Tool and play around with the bitrate and encoding resolution setting there. I've seen an issue with that on my Quest 1 before, AirLink was a Powerpoint until I set the bitrate down to 0.
