Jason_25 Posted December 6, 2008 Posted December 6, 2008 I am out of activations for DCS after 1 week. Is it correct that ED has no obligation to renew my request for further activations? If not, how many requests can be made? Must I be entirely out of activations before I make the request? What is the estimated turn around time? What is the official procedure for when one runs out of activations? Purchase the game again? Using my math: $25 x 52 weeks equals $1300/year. Unfortunately my income does not allow for that much of a gaming budget. Perhaps I could come up with $100-$300 to ED to be assured to be able to play the game I purchased? Sorry for wasting your time and being such a cheapskate. If I had realized it was going to be such a deep financial investment, I would have probably passed on this one.

That is a highly unlikely scenario, unless something goes very wrong. Normally you would install and activate the game, and only if you do a major hardware upgrade/change the OS it would be necessary to use a deactivation or an activation. Frosties Posted December 8, 2008 Posted December 8, 2008 My brother wasted all of his activations too .. within 5 minutes! The installation ate them all. He pressed some wrong button while trying to start the game so he un-knowingly wasted them. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Vincere Est Totum

I have already sent an email to appropriate address (or so I hope) and also PM'd to Tez - no response so far. Please, could someone help me?
