Stalker_it Posted December 9, 2008 Share Posted December 9, 2008 1) I open a mission: OxoTa Ha...... 2) Shut down with End - LWin 3) Begin start up procedure: - turn ON AC External power - turn ON DC external power - turn ON fuel pump - turn ON fuel gauge - test fuel gauge (but I don't see nothing) - turn on auxiliary power A - turn ON beacon - turn on stand-by attitude indicator - power-up inertial navigator unit INU - APU and engine switch selector: left - press START .... but don't start!!!! Dreamboy Posted December 9, 2008 Share Posted December 9, 2008 Did you open the APU fuel shut-off valve? I can't see this step in your instructions and is basic for the APU to start. For the APU to run you need electricity to spin the APU and fuel. So basically if you have batteries on, fuel pumps and APU fuel shut-off open you can start it. Then just select starter to APU (to the left) and click the start button. You should see the APU EGT indicator raise and the green lights on in the APU indicators. Could be many things but the first two comments about external power and then this. Have you turned on the batteries (i.e. not relied on external power)? If you have the gauge should work - of course it may just be you didn't turn on the fuel gauge power. External power needs you to talk to the ground crew and that requires the batteries on to power the radio.... r. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
