Mission 10... odd behaviour (B-17 and P47 escort change altitude like crazy)

Hi Reflected,

I've just tired to fly the mission 10, but had to let it down. All AI fly like crazy. Until mission 9, no problem at all. All works fine.

Starting was ok. I could climb wihtout problem as Red leader just left to White leader. But shortly after rendez-vous with the bombers all formations became crazy  .

First, they fly too slow. Under 150 kts is quite impossible to maintain a level flight, then they start to descent to 3000 ft, and climb again and descent. The P-47 flew back for a while then rejoin the formation. We lost 4 pilots in collisions.

Well I stopped the mission. I updated with latest stable 2.7.10.19473.

@[ED]Obi another example of the erratic AI flying that I sent you tracks of.

 

@dggoofy The DCS AI is not in a good shape now, and the fix is in the AI programmer's hands not mine

 So sad. Have to wait until ED update this and hope they will do it and hope it will work.

Well, I refly the mission to record a track (because I set the record to off to spare SDD life time)... and guess what ? It works perfectly. I could even have my 5th victory.

Happy but, anyhow a strange affair.
