Graphics problem with LOMAC

Hello All,

 

I have an intresting problem for you. I have LOMAC with the latest update V1.02 and I have been running it on my vista with only one problem. There are these lines that run to the center of my screen that will distort the A/C, or the ground, or the ocean. The will make A/C of ground object disappear. please any help is much appercated!

I used to have that with FC! I can't remember how I resolved it, though. :huh:

Perhaps your computer is under spec'd. I guess you could post your system specs next please.

I used to run into this problem a cuple of times before on my xp pc, so I dont thik its casued by vista. It might have to do with some mods in conflict or something like that. The way I solved it was to restart lockon everytime I encountered it.

I run a HP touchsmart (I know it's not made for gaming, but it's fun) IQ504 It has a Intel core 2 Processor T5750 with an Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X3100 running Vistia 64 bit edition. I hope that helps. I've tried reloading the game, doesn't help.

I am thinking low system specs are causing your issues. I can't say 100%, but it probably is.

I answered you on the ubi forums yesterday. You are under specs be it your monitor, graphics card (or lack of) or both.

 

I do not know if a touch screen monitor is suitable for high speed graphics.

Make sure there is nothing open on your Desktop as well. I used to run into that distortion from time to time myself on my lower end system when I had left something open.

The only problem with that answer is that the game runs very smoothly and doesn't exhibit any signs of under power. If I turn the graphics up some it will become sluggish or jerky, but at a medium setting it runs great except for these lines.

If the above was directed at my suggestion, it ran fine on mine as well. The issue was graphics corruption when something was open or minimized on the Desktop.

I just tried closing down everything I could think of, but it didn't help any. :(

I was hoping that it might be the problem. Unfortunately, that leaves your intergated card as the primary suspect as the sim does not look kindly on them. If you haven't already, try turning your card settings to minimum and see if it makes a difference. If that doesn't work, you might be out of luck.

Yeah, I just tried all of the above, no improvement. I'm really bumed out. I was really looking foward to playing this game, especially since I knew some of the advisers who help develope the game. I can still fly it, and it runs smoothly, I guess I just don't need to be able to see the ground sometimes.
