This would make a life much easier I suppose as many players do take symmetrical loadouts, exception would be some pods like in F16 but that can be turned off and set in full range of weapon hardpoints in second iteration turning the checkbox off.

Nice idea, but I'd like to offer a small amendment. A clickbox suggests that if you then uncheck it everything will revert back. Also, it would perhaps complicate things if using something like a TGP on a cheek station. I'd suggest having 2 buttons, "Load from Left" and "Load from Right," giving you a single click persistent option. This way you could load up your symmetrical loadout and then add in any asymmetrical item afterwards.

Checkbox should go "on" to fill sym hardpoints, and go "off" to refine after. States should be remembered, no reversion after uncheck.
Like those HP in sym should just go dimmed with mirror HP ordinance chosen on right side but special always undimmed.

I'd assume that you would keep the payload already loaded when you unclick it

The best function for the click box would be when you click it hides things pods that are never loaded symmetrically. For example, if we get the F-105G if the box is clicked you load a fuel tank on a station 3 it also gets loaded on station 4. If you unclick it you can load a shrike on station 1 and a standard arm on station 4
