Hi all,

for years I've been using a Logitech G19 keyboard which had 12 freely "programmable" G1 - G12 keys. It looks like it's breaking down soon, so I am looking for a simple, similar solution.

I have a TM Warthog HOTAS, but in addition, these keys could be nicely used for things like kneeboard on/off, radio channel up/down, etc. Great and simple to set up for different airframes.

Can anybody recommend something similar? I'm not planning to go down too deep into the rabbit hole of custom simpits or button boxes, as I'm getting laughed at enough by the wife and kids 🙂

Thanks!

I have a Razer keypad with excellent results. Use it for views and comms in first mode and UFC for some planes in second mode. Very handy in VR. With the Razer, Thrustmaster MFDs and a button box, almost no need to touch the mouse.

HI.

Thrustmaster's MFDs should be the n1 choice.

And don't forget you can add many other Joysticks/Throttles/Pads for extra buttons... place them wisely and the family may not notice them!

Saludos.

Keyboard keys will only ever be recognised as a keyboard key, they can't be recognised as buttons; that's just the way they work unfortunately. Macro buttons work slightly differently, but they can't be mapped as buttons since they only activate a macro.
