sobe Posted March 6, 2022 Posted March 6, 2022 I just noticed a separate folder titled InputUserProfiles located at Saved Games>dcs.openbeta>InputUserProfiles . I normally place my profiles for my HOTAS etc in the folder DCS.openbeta>Config>Input>MODULE.NAME. What is the difference in the two folders and which one is correct for a DCS module and for a community mod module? Munkwolf Posted March 7, 2022 Posted March 7, 2022 InputUserProfiles are where the lua files are for any profiles you save, via the dropdown menu available at the top of each device's column in the Adjust Controls menu. I personally use them a lot, as I have some devices that have the same device name and occasionally get mixed up when they get a new ID in windows. When that happens, it's quick and easy to load the profile into the right device in DCS. 1

I had to do that recently when the device id of my Virpil CM3 Throttle changed with a firmware update. 1 Don B EVGA Z390 Dark MB | i9 9900k CPU @ 5.1 GHz | Gigabyte 4090 OC | 64 GB Corsair Vengeance 3200 MHz CL16 | Corsair H150i Pro Cooler |Virpil CM3 Stick w/ Alpha Prime Grip 200mm ext| Virpil CM3 Throttle | VPC Rotor TCS Base w/ Alpha-L Grip| Point Control V2|Varjo Aero|
