Im trying to connect to a multiplayer server, but my game stucks at ''Mission Load Done'' for 15-20 minutes. 3 months ago i had no trouble with connecting.

My system specs:

GTX 1660 Super

16GB 3000 MHz DDR 4 Ram

480 GB SSD

R5 1600 12nm

The things i tried to solve this problem:

-I added 30 GB virtual RAM,

-I uninstalled my NVIDIA GPU DRIVER with DDU, and i installed latest GPU driver,

-I reinstalled DCS

-I deleted Saved Games/DCS folder

-I deleted some games on my SSD for empty space (I have 81,7 GB Empty Space now)

-I checked my SSD speed, everything is okey.

I've done those things, but i still have the problem. My DCS is installed on SSD, not HDD.

Can you help me please? Thanks :)

Hello. We need your DCS log file to better understand what's happening.

Try this:

  1. Reproduce the issue.
  2. Attach resulting dcs.log here. You will find it here: Saved Games/DCS.../Logs/dcs.log (it may appear as as just "dcs").

I meant "try again until the issue happens". According to your logs, you did that. Thank you.

The game seems to be stuck here:

2022-03-11 16:54:19.238 INFO APP: Screen: mission_online
2022-03-11 16:54:19.240 INFO Dispatcher: precache units resources in slots

Which reminds me of this issue. For some reason, this user had to wait 5 minutes for the "precache units resources in slots" operation to end.

Please retry, but this time don't interrupt the game when it seems to be stuck. Wait for ~10 minutes and see if the loading comes to an end. Then please attach the dcs.log file again.

Also please attach your dxdiag log. Here's how to make one.

OK, we're getting somewhere. As expected, you're having the very same issue: the "precache units resources in slots" step takes 6 long minutes.

codyj007 fixed this issue by modifying his pagefile size, from a huge 100 GB to a reasonable 32 GB. On your end, DCS detects 33 GB which seems to be fine.

Can you please run this command in a "cmd" window and paste the result here?

wmic pagefile list /format:list

For an unknown reason, your dxdiag log does not list your drives. Can you please detail what you have in your PC? SSDs, HDDs? And how much free space in each of them?

I see that you have two pagefiles, which is pretty useless. Please remove the one stored on your slowest drive.

I assume your C:\ is the SSD, right? If so, you want to make the pagefile bigger. Either let Windows handle its size automatically, or if this is the case already, manually set it to 32 GB instead, as such:

  • initial size: 32768
  • max size: 32768

Oh, just ensure you have enough free space on your C:\ drive before setting a 32 GB pagefile.

I have 13 GB space, its not enough. I dont have any games or things like that but its full and my slowest drive HDD doesnt have a pagefile.

I installed DCS on F:\ drive by the way. My C:\ and F:\ is SSD disk.

OK, then I assume you have enough free space on your F:\ drive. Simply remove the pagefile stored on your C:\ drive then, and try to reproduce the issue.

And don't forget to clean your C:\ drive to let it breathe. It's your system drive, it needs more than 13GB of free space.

This time, it took 7 minutes  and 30 seconds, but its still a long time.

I have enough spaces for each drive, but its still same.

Now:

My C:\ (SSD) drive has 63,4GB Free Space (My windows is on C:\ drive)

My D:\ (HDD) drive has 221GB Free Space

My F:\ (SSD) drive has 117 GB Free Space

PROBLEM SOLVED! I reinstalled Windows 10 and everything is okey now!
