Well, looks like Apache was really as hotly anticipated as we thought.

The max player count actually increased by another 200 players yesterday.
I hope that plenty of first time DCS players were brought in by the Apache so DCS can keep growing going forward...

Well the EA Apache isn’t Steam compatible so that probably isn't a factor for Steam stats.

I have been flying the DCS Apache in Steam for 2 days now

As a matter of fact, it is. That the Steam product page hasn't updated properly doesn't mean it's not available.
