When I am in Engine page, then I switch off the generator right with engines already running, it deactivates pressing the L6 button in the system page. That is ok. But I cannot put it on again. Is it normal?

Yes. These buttons just turn off the generators. To turn them back on. You must use the physical generator reset switches in the pilot cockpit.

Switch them both off and you will see why this switch is used.

I noticed that if you start the engines with ground power on, the generators also don’t start. Is this expected behavior as well where the reset is needed, or possibly a bug?

I think, it's not necessary to have them on because the ground power is enough to power all the systems while connected (I'm not sure about this).
