Eldur Posted March 19, 2022 Posted March 19, 2022 Anyone noticed that yet? Bascially all videos on the tube are taken from pancake and the head tracker symbol simply stays where it is just fine whereas in my own VR experience it's wildly shaking around and rubberbanding back to its original position constantly with ever so slight head movements (and you basically never stop your head moving completely). Was trying to take footage, but WMR doesn't like OBS at all and just keeps crashing up the whole thing (WMR -> SteamVR -> DCS) instantly, so I couldn't. Might try taking it with the CV1 though if needed. Guess a track is not needed, just have the IHADSS / HDU on and move your head while focussing on the head tracker symbol at 12 o'clock.
draconus Posted March 21, 2022 Posted March 21, 2022 Put headset on the desk. If it stays still it was you moving your head (it's normal). Rubberbanding and tracking problems can be related to room lighting - either not lit well enough or some light sources/reflections interfere.
