MarcT-NL Posted March 20, 2022 Posted March 20, 2022 Don't know if this is a bug or a wish... In other aircraft you could place specific kneeboards in saved games\DCS.openbeta\Kneeboard\Ka-50 (for example). I tried the same with the folder AH-64D, but that doesn't work. Also, what properties should an image have to become a good kneeboard ? Like JPG/PNG or what ? Which size ? Any other properties ? Thanks
ED Team Solution Raptor9 Posted March 20, 2022 ED Team Solution Posted March 20, 2022 Folder should be: AH-64D_BLK_II (The last two characters are capital i's) I use .png, 652 wide by 958 tall. But I believe you can use other formats line jpeg and similar size ratios. 2 Afterburners are for wussies...hang around the battlefield and dodge tracers like a man. DCS Rotor-Head

Any other properties ? Size isn't limited AFAIK, but the aspect ratio should be 1:1,5 = 2:3 for best results (1.000 x 1.500 px for instance). 1 [Modules] A-10C, A-10C II, AH-64D, F-4E, F-14A/B, F-16C, F/A-18C, FC3, Ka-50, P-51D, UH-1H, CA, SC [Maps] PG, NTTR, Normandy, Sinai, Syria, TC [OS] Windows 11 Pro [PC] MSI Pro Z790-A, i9-13900K, 128 GB DDR5, RTX 4090 24 GB GDDR6X, 2 x SSD 990 PRO 2 TB (M.2), Corsair 5000D Airflow, HX1500i, H150i RGB Elite, Acer X28, TM HOTAS Warthog (Grip@WarBRD Base), MS SW FFB2, Thrustmaster TFRP, TrackIR 5 & TrackClip Pro [Checklists] A-10C, F-16C, F/A-18C, AH-64D, Ka-50, UH-1H
OJG_Katsu Posted March 20, 2022 Posted March 20, 2022 Changing the folder name to "AH-64D_BLK_II" will make it work. The size seems to vary depending on the creator, but it seems that it creates in PNG format. 1
