FalcoGer Posted March 22, 2022 Posted March 22, 2022 (edited) The SAI knob is behaving oddly. To uncage you need to right mouse click and hold and then move the mouse up or down. This is unlike any other ADI uncage. You can not for example - Hold LMB + scroll. - Hold RMB + scroll (at the very least this one should work) - Hold LMB + Move mouse. - Just scroll. All of those just move the knob a tiny bit, but it doesn't uncage. Also, when caged, RMB doesn't give any visual feedback, indicating that moving the mouse now would do anything different from before. Only the RMB + mouse move works, which is unique to this SAI. Something appears to be off about it. Usually to cage an ADI you'd pull the knob out and turn it and it would stay out. When pulling it would also reset to horizon. When you then turn the knob while caged in any other DCS aircraft it would snap back to the uncaged (in) position. I don't know how the real apache SAI knob works though. FalcoGer Posted March 22, 2022 Author Posted March 22, 2022 This is most definitely not correct as is. The first uncage is different from when you cage it manually and then uncage. From the second time onward you can just scroll like any other ADI in DCS and it'll snap back to uncage, without the need of right mouse button at all.
