Training mission 3 - navigation issue

So the training mission has you entering MGRS coordinates into the CDU; when I do so, I get blinking lights telling me the coordinates are invalid.

Training officer says to enter KM91977258; it laughs at me and demands I try again.  Im seeing UTM Lat/LONG in the message; shouldnt the training mission instruct you on how to convert these coordinates to LAT/LONG instead? Or am I missing something where Im supposed to tell the CDU I will be entering them in the MGRS format?

Nvm, I was overthinking it. Instead of deleting the whole string of characters like I was, all I had to do was just type in the numbers, not KM.
