Seems like with all the work that was done to the mosquito along these lines it could be retroactively added to the 51 pacific version. .. think thats the 30? Would be nice to have radios as a substitute for way point markers on the f14 etc.

What is wrong with radio homing for the D-30?

It seems to me that it works as it should.

Maybe I missed something but everything found indicated it inoperative  that is, the scr 522 worked so long as you set channels via ME but the bendixhoming set  worked as a iff but did not have full functionality.

The Bendix were only used in the USA mainland. Not implemented in DCS.

The AN/ARA-8 works as intended in DCS.

Set in the ME one unit with a frequency in the SCR522 range and with a transmission (wav) file. Set this frequency in one of the 4 presets of the SCR522 (I use the C in this example).

With the C selected, set the AN/ARA-8 in the "Comm" position, you can hear the code (wav file) you set in the ME. If you set the selector in "Homing", you will hear the indications (morse) that informs you that you are left/right/in corse .

Short video showing AN/ARA-8 functionality.

3 becons are set in mission, two are on ground and one is flying AI plane, each has its morse code and frequency.
