Hey there, just got this campaign today and on my first playthrough. Have a question about frequencies. I read they are very important and allow dialogue and triggers. On the first mission where do you need to dial in 40.85?

32.8 is FSB Berlin. You only need to tune there if you want to talk to them. But first you need to pick up stuff from HQ, and talk to them on 40.85.

is the FM audio frequency the same as the FM homing beacon frequency? i think that's what's throwing me off. i thought you tuned the VHF for audio

Yep. The freq can be used for both; homing and audio.

Yes for both. Normally you would only use it for comms mainly, then home in on the transmissions but the campaign uses 'sound to all' rather than radio transmissions, ( long story) so I added the homing option to help the players. At least for fixed bases.
