Damocles Posted December 19, 2008 Posted December 19, 2008 How can I change the FOV in the cockpit ? I'm using a Matrox TH2G and the default view in the cockpit is too close to the instrument panel, even when fully zoomed out. Any help would be much appreciated. Cheers Damocles
H-street Posted December 19, 2008 Posted December 19, 2008 you can mouse wheel zoom out if you need to, not sure how to set it permanently..
BaD CrC Posted December 19, 2008 Posted December 19, 2008 Well, true that FOV could be a bit larger but it's not too bad IMO. Wheel mouse won't get you anything better I think. Screenshot of my cockpit here. https://www.blacksharkden.com http://discord.gg/blacksharkden
Francous Posted December 19, 2008 Posted December 19, 2008 I posted this into another post Here what i did on mine since i have to Zoom out a tight always before to start which was becoming annoying.. Go to snapviews.lua At the bottom of the page # 9 ( Ka-50 ) 13 is the number for the cockpit.. You can change your as your wishes Default is :Snap[9][13]["viewAngle"] = 89.777544238285 New is: :Snap[9][13]["viewAngle"] = 98.0 or 100 Which make the cockpit view a tight away. perfect ( CRT monitor ) Wide Screen may need different setting have fun.

Damocles Posted December 19, 2008 Author Posted December 19, 2008 Thanks for your help, don't no why that thread wasn't picked up when I did a search. The most usefull info I came across from your help was a link to examples given by Leftside on the WSGF web site. Many thanks :pilotfly: Damocles http://www.leftside-limited.com/misc.html
Shrubbo Posted December 20, 2008 Posted December 20, 2008 I have found 200 gives me pretty much what you would normally get on the center monitor and the side monitors give me great peripheral view. Landing are so much easier with that. i9-9900K,Z390 Aorus Master, 32GB GSkill Trident F4-3600 DDR4, ROG Strix RTX 2080 Ti, Oculus Rift S. Thrustmaster Warthog T&S, TPR Pedals.
