Salter10 Posted April 21, 2022 Posted April 21, 2022 Apologies if this was asked before - but could not find anything. I'd love to switch over to and see my windows desktop without removing my Reverb G2, or exiting DCS. Is there a WMR solution for this? Thanks!
The_Nephilim Posted April 22, 2022 Posted April 22, 2022 Well you can get to desktop in WMR but if you are in a game I think it kills the game. Thanks, @The_Nephilim. For a platform billing itself as a "Windows Mixed Reality" - it seems that the two do not mix very well 1

Hey Salter10, I just tried getting to desktop from DCS I had to press the windows button on my G2 controller and selected desktop and I was able to get to desktop. I had to minimise the game so looking out of headset to see the keys. I was able to get back into the game so maybe they fixed that old kill the game thing.. So you can get to desktop but it it a bit clunky.. 1 MSI Pro Z790-P / Intel i7 12700K @ 5.0Ghz / Noctua DHS-14 Heatsinkw/Fan / Samsung 980 Pro M.2 NVME 2TB / MSI 4070Ti Ventus GPU / Corsair - 64GB RAM @3600 / SoundBlaster Z / Reverb G2 VR / ThrustMaster HOTAS Cougar / Buttkicker Gamer 2 / Windows 11 Pro 64bit

Hey, I use The WMR recognition speech, when I say (in spanish, "linterna activada" "Flashlight on" in english) I can see passtrough and can use keyboard etc..) you must have the blue WMR line on top of the monitor (Think it says "device is now running thoug WMR") and of course speech recgnition in WMR enabled. Also The two handgrips (sorry for my english) must be iddle or off, If they are ON you will see where the devices are pointing, in my case sometimes I forget that and see a circle pointing to my table).. If they are Iddle or Off you will see trough tour headset where you are looking Here you have a sample of my view when I activate the Flashlight on my Reverb G2 1 Intel i9 10850k - MSI Tomahawk 490z - 64 GB DDR4 3000 - HP Reverb G2 - MSI optix Mag321curv 4k monitor - MSI RTX 3080ti - Winwing Orion Throttle base plus F18 stick
