Steel Jaw Posted July 13, 2022 Posted July 13, 2022 Of course there are time when you HAVE to jett the bags. "You see, IronHand is my thing" My specs: W10 Pro, I5/11600K o/c to 4800 @1.32v, 64 GB 3200 XML RAM, Red Dragon 7800XT/16GB, monitor: GIGABYTE M32QC 32" (31.5" Viewable) QHD 2560 x 1440 (2K) 165Hz.
Bremspropeller Posted July 13, 2022 Posted July 13, 2022 Well, one jet you won't see dropping a lot of bags will be the Crusader. The Juliet technically could carry them (first to have wet wing pylons), but carrying roundabout 9000lbs internally meant you wouldn't be all that reliant on the bags in the first place. FunFact: The SLUF could* translant to Europe with four bags and no tanker-support. You got to love those ole Voughts. ___ * As has been demonstrated for the 1967 le Bourget airshow. So ein Feuerball, JUNGE!
