d0ppler Posted December 20, 2008 Posted December 20, 2008 (edited) I've searched and read post regarding this issue but nothing has helped me. The blue led on my TIR lights up, and TrackIR recognizes the Black Shark is running. Still nothing happens when I pan my head in game. I've searched through all my PDF's and Track IR isn't mentioned one single time. Am I suppsoed to enable track ir under the options or something? I can also see the TrackIr column under the Axis-section Edited December 20, 2008 by d0ppler added information A-10C, AV-8B, Ka-50, F-14B, F-16C, F-5E, F/A-18C, L-39, Mi-8, MiG-21, MiG-29, SA34, Spitfire, Su-27, Su-33, UH-1H
Shrubbo Posted December 20, 2008 Posted December 20, 2008 I don't know what version you have but I have TrackIR 4 so this may or may not help. Blue light means it has detected the game and is active and ready. No green light means that it can not see the reflectors (Or the head mounted led thing if you have that) A good way to see what it sees and has helped me a few times is to start trackir Click the VIEW drop down menu Click the TRACKING option. This will open up a window where you can actually see what it sees. If you can't see the three reflectors thru that then you have atleasts started on the path to working out what is wrong. This has helped me a few times. Firstly I have learned not to wear Hi-vis clothing, I have also learned that a window behind you is a bitch and not to mention if the sensor has slipped down enough in the dark where it couldn't see the top reflector. All of the above stoped the green light coming on. Hope this helps yah. i9-9900K,Z390 Aorus Master, 32GB GSkill Trident F4-3600 DDR4, ROG Strix RTX 2080 Ti, Oculus Rift S. Pizzicato Posted December 20, 2008 Posted December 20, 2008 This might not help, but you need to make sure: 1. You have the latest version of the TIR software running (v4.1. Built 36). You can get it from http://www.naturalpoint.com 2. When it's running, go to Updates -> Check for Game Updates and get the latest 3. Close down BlackShark AND the TIR software, then restart both Hope this helps i7-7700K @ 4.9Ghz | 16Gb DDR4 @ 3200Mhz | MSI Z270 Gaming M7 | MSI GeForce GTX 1080ti Gaming X | Win 10 Home | Thrustmaster Warthog | MFG Crosswind pedals | Oculus Rift S
