correct as is walleye bomb disppears

Hi Guys,  I recently want to use walleye on FA 18, but it doesn't appear on the weapon list for the pylons.Is it an update to delete that weapon?

Hi, make sure you don't have the historical filter enabled, as it might limit the types of weapons that you can load. It should be the fourth button at the bottom of the display, which appears enabled in your screenshot.

Which pylons are you trying to add it to? Having just checked then Walleye is available to me on stations 2 & 8 and your menu looks like what I see if I try to add bombs to stations 3 & 7.

 

EDIT: Or as Harker said, check you've not got historical filter applied.

Yes, the historical filter button at the bottom is the problem. I disable it then the walleye appeared. By the way what is this historical filter for ?

The mission editor can be restricted by the filter so that the year set in the mission will affect what aircraft/vehicles/weapons are available.

For example the Walleye was retired after the Gulf War, so with the filter on, it shouldn't appear in missions after 1991. Or how the SLAM was retired in 2000 in favor of SLAM-ER.
