Hi, so I tried run this game for about 2 months maybe, normal release, alpha release, standalone or steam, it always crash while loading.

I don't have any mods installed, tried delete Saved Games's DCS folder, didn't change any setting as i have never been able to start this game without crash once.

My NVIDIA drivers are updated, use a Windows 11 Insider updated build but i had quite a few updates and none helped.

I don't have any issue running any other game, like WoW, Deathloop, Elden Ring, Cyberpunk, Witcher3, Core, etc......... never had any game crashing on start.

Joined logs with advanced log config file turn on, hopefully there is a solution to this crashs

I have tested "High performance", "Don't use optimizations for windowed games" and "Don't use Auto HDR", on/off individually, same crash with each options

Have you ensured Windows HAGS is disabled?

Check this as well, in the compatibility options of your DCS.exe executable: right-click on DCS.exe, “Properties”, then click the “Compatibility” tab:

  • Ensure “Run this program in compatibility mode for” is unticked.
  • Ensure “Full screen optimisations disable” is unticked.
  • Ensure “Run this program as an administrator” is unticked.

All compatibility options for C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\DCSWorld\bin\DCS.exe were already unticked

I had "Window HAGS" enable, i disable it and restarted my computer, but it didn't solve the crash issue

Since it is "Kernelbase.dll" which crashes, you should take a look at your Windows Event viewer, in the Apps section. You should find reports there, at the time of your crashes. Can you please copy-paste them?

By the way, I read "OverlayWindow" in the crash stack and I see your DCS runs on Steam. Can you try disabling Steam overlay for DCS?

I didn't have this option enable in steam, and i did test standalone version earlier without success.

You should open a support ticket: log in to the DCS main website, click Support, then "Create a new ticket".
