sirrah Posted June 9, 2022 Posted June 9, 2022 Fwiw: Specs in my signature and using a Reverb G1 I tried the SA version of Through the Inferno yesterday and once all scripts were finished loading I had no performance issues and a good overall experience (As said before; similar to Syria). How much fps, I don't know as I stopped monitoring it. Don't care for fps numbers as long as I have a good experience Of course I have to manage my graphics options, but I used the same settings as for all other maps. I did though notice some slight stutters when flying fast and low over tree heavy areas. Something I havent experienced in Caucasus for instance. Moxica Posted June 9, 2022 Posted June 9, 2022 (edited) Was hoping to avoid using open beta again. AH 64D is an unflyable yoyo. Even with winds at 0, George cannot keep a steady hover. Not even close. Minimum forward speed @ ca. 20 knots, when I "punch in" zero; In all headings/directions! Take offs that work well in stable versions, ends in exaggerated rolls Winds still at zero. All other maps are fine (in stable version) Marianas runs fine. Falklands turned into jerk-o-rama with only two stationary enemy units on the ground. Surprisingly, because there are no visible hi end textures or objects. F16 and F18 at higher altitudes were problem free. (Did not take off from ground) #Oculus Quest 2 Edited June 9, 2022 by Moxica ASUS ROG Strix B550-E GAMING - PNY GeForce RTX 4090 Gaming VERTO EPIC-X - AMD Ryzen 9 5900X - 64Gb RAM - 2x2Tb M2 - Win11 - Pimax crystal light - HP Reverb g2 - Oculus Quest 2 - Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS - Thrustmaster Pendular Rudder - 2X Thrustmaster MFD Cougar - Audient EVO8

AH 64D is an unflyable yoyo Hate to be the one to bring it to ya mate, but that must be user related then, as my AH-64D is perfectly flyable Or do you mean it's unflyable in stable version? Wouldn't know about that, as I'm using beta (without any noticeable issues by the way) 1 System specs: i7-8700K @stock speed - GTX 1080TI @ stock speed - AsRock Extreme4 Z370 - 32GB DDR4 @3GHz- 500GB SSD - 2TB nvme - 650W PSU HP Reverb G1 v2 - Saitek Pro pedals - TM Warthog HOTAS - TM F/A-18 Grip - TM Cougar HOTAS (NN-Dan mod) & (throttle standalone mod) - VIRPIL VPC Rotor TCS Plus with ALPHA-L grip - Pointctrl & aux banks <-- must have for VR users!! - Andre's SimShaker Jetpad - Fully adjustable DIY playseat - VA+VAICOM - Realsimulator FSSB-R3 ~ That nuke might not have been the best of ideas, Sir... the enemy is furious ~ GUMMBAH

Wouldn't know about that, as I'm using beta (without any noticeable issues by the way) Let me know how it is user related: I'm slowing George down in steps. Last one from 40 to 0 knots. With zero winds he continues forward at ca. 20 knots. I turn 90º four times. He is moving forward in all directions. Does not happen in stable. You said: "AH 64D is an unflyable yoyo" Unflyable means: to not be able to fly it.. Only after that you start talking about George shenanigans... (yes, we all know George AI is still WIP, but that doesn't make the Apache "unflyable") But ok, I must have misunderstood your post.. I see someone above has mentioned turning off mirrors which I’ll try but I kept mirrors on as when you flick them over instead of seeing the back of the mirror you still get a mirror but with odd reflections! Yep I've been seeing those blackouts. Also non VR. I think its only when I've used the harrier but I'll be doing some more testing and checking my settings before I report anything incase its my end.
