HI all,

SImple, what do you think:

LG 34GL750-B 34" LED UltraWide FullHD 144Hz G-Sync (387€)

The visible vertical size of this screen it's the same that my screen, but with +20cm of visible horizontal size...

(I need to move 2.764.800 pixels, 2560 x 1080)

...or...

Asus TUF Gaming VG27AQZ 27" LED IPS WQHD 165Hz G-Sync Compatible (329€)

(3.686.400 pixels, 2560x1440)

...or...

Samsung Odyssey G5 LC32G55TQWRXEN 32" LED WQHD 144Hz FreeSync Premium Curva (300€)

(3.686.400 pixels, 2560x1440)

MSI has good screens too, 2k 144hz gsync compatible and inside my budget

I'm playing with a GTX1070 with an old I5 at 4,5ghz.

The LG is at the top of my budget, but it makes me horny 😛...but maybe will be a bad decision, I don't know

What are my preferences? flight simulators, role-playing games, strategy and a bit of work

For me it's a very difficult decision, the screen live with us more time that other hardwares, and it's not my intention to change the graphic card or CPU in long time  (maybe 2K it's to high for me, maybe 21:9 will be a good deccision vs my hardware...I don't know). I need a good middle quality screen but with good perfomances to play

¿easy to decide?¿any recomendation?

Thx in advance to all for your comments and very sorry for my bad English, maybe google translation it's not my friend, probably

2560x1440p is definitely pushing it with a 1070 non Ti. What type of monitor are you currently using? If it were me I would hold off on a monitor upgrade until I was ready for a GPU upgrade. 34" in 1080 resolution is probably not going to look great, you'll most likely be able to see the pixels at that size.

I had a 1070 and agree with both points above . 34" is far too big for 1080p , and at 1440p , performance will be marginal based on my experience with a RiftS (similar pixel count) and a 1070 .

You would be much better off with a 27" (max) 1080p monitor , but honestly , your system (except for the 1070) is totally inadequate for DCS .

I could recommend you the BenQ ZOWIE XL2746S, comes with 240Hz and Full HD with 1920x1080, Im using it for RPG, FPS and for sure DCS. Its maybe above your invest ceiling, but worth a think-about-it.

First of all many thanks for your replies.

And again, I'm sorry for my bad English, I'm trying to be better...be sure

Ok, this is what I think, it's probably not the truth and I'm probably wrong.

The screen resolution 1920x1080, speaking from my playing point of view, is the same as the LG 21:9 1080p, the difference is that a 21:9 has many centimeters on the side, compared to my screen, 16:10 1200p and compared with a 16:9 screen.

2k 27" is a good balance between resolution vs inches, good PPI vs 21:9, but I don't know if my graphics card will be affected by this extra resolution, probably yes, and the next step will be ("I have low FPS, this is big #~€~#@, i need to change my hardware, i need €2000..."")...no way...

The LG has 400,000 more pixels (more or less) than my 1200p, a 2k has +1,000,000 pixels to move, I don't know if it's a good idea, 2k with GTX1070.

I don't need to change the hardware platform, my I5 (4.5ghz), with the GTX1070 and 24gb of RAM run very well, I don't have the psychosis of low FPS at the moment. (my wet dream would be a new 5ghz i5 with a GTX3090, why not?... but my money has other priorities)

So, do you think a 21:9 is a bad idea?
Go to a screen with less resolution that my actual 16:10 1200p, ....I don't know....

Many thanks in advance for all your comments
