Hello,

After last update and installing South Atlantic map I have strange bug. There is some kind of reflection over MFD map on different planes like AV-8, F/A-18C, A-10II, which make it unreadable. I attach screenshot. Tried to repair DCS World, but that didn't make any difference. Can somebody help what to do to fix that?

It looks like a full Hornet being reflected on that glass... 🧐

Please try this:

  1. Browse to "Saved Games".
  2. Rename your "DCS..." folder anything you like ("DCS_backup" or "DCS.openbeta_backup" will do) and keep it as a backup.
  3. Launch DCS and see if the reflection is still present.

Thanks, it worked. Only the map is still dark, although not complete unreadable. I wonder if this will change with next patch.

Good. Then it was either a mod or a shader from the "fxo" or "metashaders2" subfolders.

Now, if you want to retrieve your custom bindings:

  1. Go to "Saved Games/name_of_your_backup_folder/Config"
  2. Copy the "Input" folder.
  3. Go to "Saved Games/DCS/Config" or "Saved Games /DCS.openbeta/Config" (it depends on your installation)
  4. Paste.
  5. Enjoy.

Unfortunately, the problem it seems stays. I did everything you said, in some moment I thought it disappeared, but it was just not so obvious. Next, I even reinstalled the whole game, but that reflection stays on all MFD with map. Am I the only one with such problem?

Have you installed any mod in your game files? ( ./DCS World (OpenBeta)/ )

Please reproduce the issue then attach the resulting dcs.log (from your Saved Games/DCS.../Logs folder).

That is a weird one. I cannot reproduce your issue by the way.

Problem solved. It was from the settings of the video card. Anti-Aliasing was on enhance application setting and adaptive multisampling was on. Now I use the application setting and everything is OK.
