silverdevil Posted July 4, 2022 Posted July 4, 2022 hello all. i have an opinion question. i have had a T.16000M FCS FLIGHT PACK for a while. i got the THRUSTMASTER HOTAS WARTHOG JOYSTICK / THROTTLE kit. the T.16000 throttle IMO is superior with the buttons and the see saw paddles. does anyone use two throttles? i would only use one of controllers as a throttle but i was thinking about using both controllers side by side. thoughts? 1 AKA_SilverDevil Join AKA Wardogs Email Address My YouTube “The MIGS came up, the MIGS were aggressive, we tangled, they lost.” - Robin Olds - An American fighter pilot. Taderaz Posted July 4, 2022 Posted July 4, 2022 Well, at the end of the day, for DCS, they are just input devices and DCS is not that limited compared to older games. You would get a lot of extra buttons and some axes. I would say there is no reason not to try it out. Just remember to delete the old profile when configuring both throttles to avoid duplication. 1
silverdevil Posted July 4, 2022 Author Posted July 4, 2022 @Taderaz in deed. i think i will have enough room using 3 J-PEIN desk mounts. null AKA_SilverDevil Join AKA Wardogs Email Address My YouTube “The MIGS came up, the MIGS were aggressive, we tangled, they lost.” - Robin Olds - An American fighter pilot. Perhaps I don't understand your OP, but you can add as much controllers as you like (not sure if there's a maximum, but I never got there myself ) As for using multiple throttles, I've been using two simultaneously for a very long time now (3 if you count the collective throttle as well ) But I'm sure there are folks out here that have even more of them connected at the same time. (For those wondering why my Cougar is rotated 180 degrees; I can easily place the throttle mounting board to match the module I'm flying.. for more pics check my signature) System specs: i7-8700K @stock speed - GTX 1080TI @ stock speed - AsRock Extreme4 Z370 - 32GB DDR4 @3GHz- 500GB SSD - 2TB nvme - 650W PSU HP Reverb G1 v2 - Saitek Pro pedals - TM Warthog HOTAS - TM F/A-18 Grip - TM Cougar HOTAS (NN-Dan mod) & (throttle standalone mod) - VIRPIL VPC Rotor TCS Plus with ALPHA-L grip - Pointctrl & aux banks <-- must have for VR users!! - Andre's SimShaker Jetpad - Fully adjustable DIY playseat - VA+VAICOM - Realsimulator FSSB-R3 ~ That nuke might not have been the best of ideas, Sir... the enemy is furious ~ GUMMBAH
silverdevil Posted July 4, 2022 Author Posted July 4, 2022 Thanks for the reply. I have seen previous posts about multiple controllers. I was wondering about the ease of use with two. It should be workable. AKA_SilverDevil Join AKA Wardogs Email Address My YouTube “The MIGS came up, the MIGS were aggressive, we tangled, they lost.” - Robin Olds - An American fighter pilot.
