VKB NXT Gladiator EVO mod

Has anyone mod'd their Gladiator to the new EVO gimbal system?

 

Curious if there's a more than noticeable improvement.

TBH, while I understand that there may be some improvements with the new EVO, I'm totally happy with my current "non-EVO" VKB NXT, and wouldn't (and won't) change a thing.

Makes no sense to go for it, unless you'd really (like, really) had to, such as fixing something that is fundamentally broken. (unlikely to happen - also there's the ongoing warranty)

While 82,90€ (64,00€ + shipment cost) for the EVO upgrade isn't the end of the world, it'll mean that, what was once an "ubber bang for the buck" product (for me, anyway) at 168,70€, then becomes a "not-so-affordable" package in the end, when all is said and done (at 250,00€+).
Which then kinda defeats the point of the whole thing, doesn't it?

I'd rather keep and enjoy it "as is" (nothing wrong with the original product), save a bit and maybe later get a VKB Gunfighter Mk.III, or Virpil WarBRD, or Winwing Orion 2 (etc).
