During Mission 8, when i attacked the target after i was given clearance but the weapon hit the target, after the call from the JTAC of "you have missed"! the target , and before i requested a re-attack, as i was out of postion to do so, poodle admonished me ... for attacking without permission ,,

Thanks for the heads up, this can happen as there's a backup timer that fires a certain amount of time after the cleared hot call, just in case the player fails to trigger the off target call when egressing.  I try and set that backup timer to take account of calling in further out or high altitude release with a longer bomb fall time.  Where you really far out when you called in?  Or particularly high?  If I can clarify exactly what you did I can look at making the correct adjustment.

I was at about 30k feet, so high, but i guess that also gave me engagement range as well, i would have popped off at about 3 seconds from the in zone message

Ok thanks, not sure I ever tested that high so it'll be the bomb fall time...I'll adjust accordingly, thanks!
