Key Board bindings not working

I just got back into DCS. Download the open beta, and purchased several modules including the F/A 18c. My first stop was the training section using my old Logitech 3d pro joystick until my WinWing joystick and throttle show up. Everything seems to work including the Keyboard bindings. But when I try an Instant mission or create a mission my joystick works, but none of my keyboard bindings work. If I go into the settings and try the key bindings they seem to be working. Any ideas?

Many aircrafts, including the Hornet, have two modes of use: Sim Mode and Game Mode ... unfortunately with separate bindings for each mode. make sure that you binded for the correct Mode. game Mode is enabled/disabled on Options -> Gameplay.

sim mode enabled, and F/A 18c_sim in the control settings. still no keyboard bindings work.

(SOLVED} the 15 year old Logitech 3D joystick was apparently the problem. I unplugged the joystick and plugged in my Honeycomb Alpha & Bravo, set up some bindings, loaded a mission, checked the bindings on the Alpha/Bravo as well as several keyboard bindings, and they all worked. The alpha/bravo are not ideal but will work until the WinWing hardware arrives.

Or maybe you used the software for Logitech that blocked the key binds?
