reported earlier AH-64D engine start without apu

If you start apu first, then click start engine and when engine is 24%, turn apu off your engine will operate on 24%. If you set engine control stick to idle, it will start.

If you connect ground power first, you can start engines without apu. Just click at engine start switch and it will run. 

And i found a engine cranking bug. If hold switch on crank, your engine will stuck on rotations percent but without OVRD on the mfd (third track)

Sad to say that 2 years on, this behaviour still occurs.
