RED Posted August 1, 2022 Posted August 1, 2022 I dont have a cutoff on my physical throttle and it would be nice to have a toggle for cutoff/idle so that i can set my physical throttle range to cover idle to max AB instead of cutoff to max AB. That would allow for finer controls of RPM. I already got more precision in changing the axis to a slider and manually changing the axis so that more of the physical range is covering cutoff->MIL. 5
redloved Posted February 19, 2023 Posted February 19, 2023 Hi, Maybe my wish list is near yours : like F18 and other, It would be usefull to have 2 separates buttons : throttle cutoff et throttle idle.

This, please. I have two virtual buttons for my throttle that trigger to represent cutoff and idle. 1 Sinclair ZX Spectrum 48K, Kempston joystick Interface, Alba Cassette Recorder, Quickshot II Turbo Joystick
HawkEXO Posted June 27, 2023 Posted June 27, 2023 I don't know exactly why, but this is the only jet in DCS that I can't map my cutoff/idle on the throttle axis. I have a winwing taurus, and if I try to map IDLE/CUTOFF like the other jets, it fouls the start procedure when I bring it out of cutoff to idle. The jet shuts down shortly after start. So I have to leave it unmapped and click the virtual throttle lever with the mouse. It works fine, but it's just not as nice as moving the physical throttle out of CUTOFF like I can with every other module. Please provide us with an option that works like the other modules. It would be greatly appreciated by a lot of us I think. I'm not certain, but I think the others work as an "else" function, such that the jet is in CUTOFF as long as the switch is held on, else the throttle advances to idle when switch is turned OFF. 2
flyingcyrus Posted August 13, 2023 Posted August 13, 2023 @HawkEXO this might be because there is only one entry for cutoff and idle positions, but wihout any logic. Other modules like F/A18 have "logical" command such as Cutoff <> Idle, meaning if the switch is on, then throttle is in cutoff position, else it is on idle position. 10700K / 4090 / 32Go / 34" curved Gigabyte / Reverb G1 / Thrustmaster hardware among other harderware things. I find your lack of FPS disturbing... C8<]
HawkEXO Posted May 29, 2024 Posted May 29, 2024 Update: works now. Thank you for adding this. Much appreciated 2
