[How-to] Head tracker in video making

I watched a couple of videos in which tracking shots are made using head trackers. May I ask how it can be done instead of using LCTRL+11 and moue scroll wheel?

Enable trackIR controls external view in the settings and then place the camera where you want and turn your head.
