Gemt Posted August 24, 2022 Posted August 24, 2022 Just want a yes or no answer, haven't seen this mentioned by anyone from ED but default keyboard key binds are very important for those of us that use external software to bind controls. 1
Rudel_chw Posted August 24, 2022 Posted August 24, 2022 I use an external software (my Hotas software), and what I do on these cases is simply define my own bindings, it isn't hard to do. For work: iMac mid-2010 of 27" - Core i7 870 - 6 GB DDR3 1333 MHz - ATI HD5670 - SSD 256 GB - HDD 2 TB - macOS High Sierra For Gaming: 34" Monitor - Ryzen 3600 - 32 GB DDR4 2400 - nVidia RTX2080 - SSD 1.25 TB - HDD 10 TB - Win10 Pro - TM HOTAS Cougar Mobile: iPad Pro 12.9" of 256 GB
Gemt Posted August 24, 2022 Author Posted August 24, 2022 I'm aware that's an option but the Apache in particular has an absolutely inordinate amount of controls (especially if you want to play as CPG) to bind and giving them keyboard bindings and then binding them again in external software more than doubles the amount of time this takes. Instead of having everyone make their own unique keyboard bindings ED could do it once and save a lot of people a lot of time. 4

I probably wouldn't use their binds, I like to make my own so i can remember them and not have to learn someone else Binds.
Shadow Posted October 27, 2022 Posted October 27, 2022 I asked for default keybinds months ago but never got an official response on the matter here
