PVI and 6+ waypoints

So if I have 10 waypoints to fly and want to autopilot route mode the wp's 7 thru 10 but only the first 6 are in the PVI how do I handle that?

You cant. The PVI has a max of 6.

If you read thrue chapter 3 you will see how to add any of the stear points as a option in the 6 WP's. But the PVI-800 can only do 6 WP at a time. so after you hit the first 3 wp you can reasine them to SP 7.8.9 to WP1,2,3.

 

If that makes any since to you. not sure it does to me. But it can be dun :D

Additional WP you could set as TP (target points) in PVI... Just an idea.

Thanks guys. I kinda figured the PVI was this way but wondered if there were other ways of doing it. Vitesse21's "evening sortie" mission is like this so when your in the fog you have man it.

Actually, it can. You might want to check the manual under "Automatic Ingress to Target Point", but I believe you just select your TP, autopilot heading switch to direct heading, auto turn to target, turn on route follow mode and you're good to go.

Correct, the AP can navigate you automatically through the route, directly to a Nav Point/Target Point/Fix Point/Airbase Point. This how the Ka-50 became famous for being able to effectively fly the entire flight on its own. A bit of a stretch, but nearly true.
