I could not take off from the top so after several attempts I moved the waypoints down to the base of the peak just so I could at least play though this one.

Just did a simple test with this. I had 3 wind layers same direction but slightly different speeds and no manual data entry, bombs where right on. Then with winds in different directions and speeds and bombs where off target.

Thanks Eddie, Viewed your tracks. Just realized I had my winds to/from backwards when inputing in the pit from your tracks. Hit dead on on the one I built. What is this auto correction one, is that a different way to set up winds?

Looking for an old russian Black Shark mission that was with the first english beta years ago. I kept it from the beginning but apparently have deleted it. I was going to try to recreate it but thought I'd ask if anybody had it. Don't have the name because it was in russian language, but it involved attacking convoy's from the rear as they tried to capture bases. Also, if you search youtube for "blackshark rambo" you will see it. It might well be in the russian version. Always enjoyed this one for a quick flight. Thanks...

Thanks for the comments guys. Glad to hear some of you are making use of them. I've been busy with work and haven't had a chance to try them after the 0.7 patch. Do they still work?

Well I gave it a go. I lost an engine half way through (from the manpad) and fought the second half on one engine. I put the fire out, shut the engine off, then the other engine to max and trimmed and pressed on. A smart pilot would have returned to base. :music_whistling: A bit sluggish lining up to fire guns and dropping cbu's and the landing was a slight challenge but we made it. Thanks for creating another fun mission. Your other book was a very enjoyable read. :book::thumbup:

Thanks, I set that one up cause I had never tried the flares, also. Try the river run and gun on the tanks. When I started that one I had trouble with one tank but now I can usually get all 5. You can edit them anyway you want if needed. I added a few notes to each scenario that I used for each but they may not be totally accurate for everyone or you may do things differently. I'd suggest anyone starting out with this sim to first get their joystick's hotas buttons setup and then do the training missions in the game. dne48...Can't wait to start reading that book and looking forward to your next challenge. Well I finally got around to flying this again, here's the results. Got shot up again but made it back to base.

This is spectacular Ricardo and I haven't even tried it yet, but if its anything like the one you did for the SU-25T that I use all the time it's gonna be super. Thank you for all your hard work here.

Hey dane48, I just flew your mission and enjoyed it. I did this in 29 minutes and made a few mistakes along the way and took some bullets but made it back to base. After the first group of 4 it took nearly 5 minutes before the next ones showed up. I forgot to count the number of targets I got but is there any indication of all targets destroyed? I did save the track but I will probably do it again after my one gun run with the rocket cue in the hud, oops.:doh: Thanks.

I've made a few simple training missions for myself and I thought I would share them with anyone that might be interested. I did these so I could practice with either a specific weapon, mode, task, or different types of threats and to be able to quickly redo it. They all start in the air, generally right before weapons employment. For me, the speech sound plays fine it's just that the last 3 to 5 words are dropped or cut off.

Sim runs great but I have this annoying sound problem, the last second of any speech sound cuts out. I can get by with the text to know what is said. Trying to rule out hardware. Ran checks in dxdiag, did both the directx updates, 9 and current. I'm on Asus P6T MotherBoard sound, using soundmax 5.1. Gonna check my BIOS. Was hoping there was some config file that could be tweaked. Any ideas?

Thanks Wags and ED staff and beta testers! It's a great way to celebrate Presidents day although this feels like Christmas again. Hope it snows outside and I'm stuck inside for days!
