western_JPN Posted October 5, 2022 Posted October 5, 2022 Hi. I read this and faq topics , I understand difficulties about making 1960s' map. But I request Sinai 1967 or 1973 again. I don't mean "Free expansion of DCS: Sinai" , I'll pay another early-access $39.99 for Sinai 1967 (or 1973). 3 2 Modules: A-10C/II, F-4E, F-5E(Re), F-14A/B, F-15E, F-16C, F/A-18C, AV-8B, FC3, Ka-50-2/3, UH-1H, Mi-8MTV2, SA342, Mi-24P, AH-64D, CH-47F, P-51D Maps: Nevada, PG, Syria, SA, Sinai, Kola, Afghanistan, Iraq, Channel, Normandy2.0 Assets etc.: CA, Sc, WW2AP Mods and Skins in User Files: files/filter/user-is-western0221/

I'm not sure, but it seems there is a technology for switching the date in the development tools. I think we will have a discussion about this in the future. We thought about the date for a long time, but after studying the material, we realized that it was very small data even for 1973. There are photographs and maps of those times, but they are not enough to make a complete picture of the map. I mean the airfields and military bases. But the terrain development kit (tdk) allows you to make maps of any time and this is very good. 2 3
irisono Posted December 22, 2022 Posted December 22, 2022 I, too, would appreciate it very much if in a future Sinai map variant the road network, cities, ports, airports etc. of the time period 1967-1973 were represented. This would allow us to simulate major conflicts such as the 6 Day War, the War of Attrition, and the Jom Kippur/October War. A simulation of the Suez conflict of 1956 would also be possible. 6

With this publication, working out the air bases would be an easy game. Of course, there are still the cities, roads and waterways that you would have to take from other sources. 3

Thanks for your work 3
