Fakum Posted January 4, 2009 Posted January 4, 2009 Sorry if this was discussed already, but I did several different searches here and had 0 results found. I have been practicing hovering etc, a few times I noticed on the HUD that the “Hover Point Deviation Marker (Dynamic)” was present, and it was very usefull. For the life of me, I ran thru the manual and key commands, and I cannot figure out how to get it to show up on the HUD at all now? The “HUDS Scales Reject On/Off” does not bring this up. What switch am I missing here? amalahama Posted January 4, 2009 Posted January 4, 2009 Maybe you should enter in "Hover mode" with FD on? Only guessing. Regards!!
mckee14 Posted January 4, 2009 Posted January 4, 2009 you have to be in the normal route/flight mode to see it. as soon as you activate the shkval, the HUD changes. when you activate the hover mode, just press the weapon mode reset (?) button, and it should show up... EDIT: no, NOT with flight director on. with the flight director ON, hover mode will not work at all :) Democracy is choice, not freedom...

Fakum Posted January 4, 2009 Author Posted January 4, 2009 Ahhhhh... thank you mckee14, that was the key, Thanks,,,, I will note that if I am in Route mode, I can not engage Hover mode,,,I may have mis interpreted "you have to be in the normal route/flight mode" I can only engage hover if I have come out of route mode, then I hit weapon mode reset, and I see what i was looking for,,, many thanks Windows 10 Pro - 64 Bit / ASUS ROG Strix B650E-F Gaming / AMD 7800X3D / G.Skill Trident Z5 NEO 64GB DDR5 6000 Ram / SSD M.2 SK hynix Platinum P41 2TB / MSI Gaming GeForce RTX 4090 SUPRIM Liquid X 24G / SteelSeries Arctis 7 Headset /LG-Ultragear 38" IPS LED Ultrawide HD Monitor (3840 x 1600) / Track IR4 / Thrustmaster TPR Pendular Rudder Pedals / Virpil HOTAS VPC Constellation ALPHA-R & VPC MongoosT-50CM3 Throttle
