uniform Posted September 17, 2022 Posted September 17, 2022 I could not find topic and was scrolling for a while. A search feature would be nice for Forums. Anyone using the ThrustMaster HOTAS1? I cannot seem to get good tuining on X and Y axis. It is dramatically sensitive or has virtually no travel. Dont have this problem with other aircraft.

Hello I put this post up on about my Thrustmaster HOTAS Throttle I was using for the Collective. I found it to have little to no through then I set it up like the Picture shows and I felt it worked out way better for me. If you are talking about the Stick and not the Throttle then I had no issue with the sticks Axis. CLICK on the "Huey and Warthog Throttle" link.

Those are the settings I found for the throttle/collective to work for me, my concers is with the stick. Not the twisting action for yaw, that is fine. I cannot find a setting for the X and Y axis that works for me. everything is either too sensitive. Or I do not have much control/travel. Would you mind sharing what you have these Axis's on maybe that might help my situation? 1
DishDoggie Posted September 19, 2022 Posted September 19, 2022 I honestly had to do nothing to the Stick for setup on the Axis. Do you have Thrustmaster's "Target" software installed? Have you Installed the Firmware updater Software? Have you run them on your gear yet? https://support.thrustmaster.com/en/cat-joysticks-en/ Pick your Gear from the list lookup what to do first on YouTube with the Software so you are not going into it Blind. do the Firm Ware update first. Then the Target Software. Hope you get this working. Thank You.

Then the Target Software. Hope you get this working. Thank You. My software/firmware is up to date. I dont think "Target" is an option for the Thrustmaster HOTAS 1. I thought that was the device you are running as well. I will look for "Target" and try though, regardless of support for my device. I never play online, I only play Campaign and Quick missions. I am truly having a difficult time tuning my joystick X and Y axis's. If you have the TM HOTAS 1, can you provide me with your tuning of these two settings? Even if you had the luxury of using the default settings? I have tried so many settings, I will never know what is default even if I found them again, and nothing has worked for me. Sorry it took me so long to get back home. so for my joy_X and joy_Y on my Thrustmaster HOTAS Stick My setting are all Default so Dead Zone is 0 Saturation Y is 100 Saturation X is 100 Curvature is 0 Slider Not Checked Invert Not Checked Use Curve Not Checked I hope I am not misunderstanding you But if I am let me know please.
