Game Freeze playing edited single mission / bad weather

Hello everyone,

( Thank you again @Flappie, the advice to not select full-screen option helped to launch DCS window without any problems. )

 

My current issue is, the game freezes from time to time on a edited mission of mine:

- last open beta

- F-14 Carrier Landing mission (edited / modified from instant action missions)

- the majority of freezes happen while panning around in F2 view

- freezes more frequently when: in bad weather conditions, or several aircraft units in the air, or when using CV-59 Forrestal

(but using CVN-74 also freezes DCS)

Given my system's 16 GB DDR3 RAM memory, should I change my Page File from auto manager, to custom size ?

Hello, I can see you had one temporary freeze at 13:06:46 (UTC) and it lasted one minute (I'm talking about the "ERROR SOUND: render time... exceeded allowed slice" message series, which a common DCS freeze symptom). Then another one minute later.

Then, after a long game session, your log ended abruptly. From what you tell, I think you were the victim of the F-14 freeze. This issue started this spring and so far devs are unable to tackle it. See this thread for more info:
