Hi all!

I know that the MB-339 will be provided with a hood for IFR training.

In addition to this, would it be possible to have a "Partial panel" option to cover/blank the ADI and/or HSI? It's a setup used in the instrument training if I am not wrong; probably it is used during the IFR training on the aircraft.

Thank you!

That's a great idea!

Something like putting a cover/ blank onto instruments or specifically failing instruments on the go (even though it's hard to "fail" PX instruments) would be awesome as an option for the FI.

Yep!

In real IFR training those are plastic covers that you can install on top of the instruments to blank them out and do simulate failure. Easy to graphically develop  and implement, I think.

By the way, I mentioned the ADI and HSI because those are the instruments referred to in the T-45 US Navy Instrument Course.

Hi, as far as we know, the partial cover for instruments is not used on the MB-339...

Ah ok!

For sure you've got former Italian Air Force pilots in your "contacts list" and this settles the matter. 😉
