TEMPEST.114 Posted September 19, 2022 Posted September 19, 2022 As the title says. im asking because I have a trigger zone (circular) around a cargo ship that the player needs to fly over at low level (buzz it basically) but the trigger is never firing. is that because it’s just a flat circle on the water? how can I fix this?

No, trigger zones are three dimensional .. on the Mission Editor you just see their footprint, but they extend upwards to max ceiling 1 hour ago, Elphaba said: how can I fix this? Can't say without taking a look onto the mission. 1 For work: iMac mid-2010 of 27" - Core i7 870 - 6 GB DDR3 1333 MHz - ATI HD5670 - SSD 256 GB - HDD 2 TB - macOS High Sierra For Gaming: 34" Monitor - Ryzen 3600 - 32 GB DDR4 2400 - nVidia RTX2080 - SSD 1.25 TB - HDD 10 TB - Win10 Pro - TM HOTAS Cougar Mobile: iPad Pro 12.9" of 256 GB
Grimes Posted September 19, 2022 Posted September 19, 2022 Most likely it is the check rate of the trigger, which is once every second, and the size of the zone. If the trigger zone is to small, speed of the aircraft is high enough, and a bit of luck then it is possible for the aircraft to enter and exit the trigger zone between the checks. Making the trigger zone larger or using scripting to check at a faster rate are the solutions. 2 The right man in the wrong place makes all the difference in the world.
