Seems to have happened to me when there is no radar lock or the radar lock is far away. With valid lock close in it has never done it for me

Oh yeah this is has been going on for a while, not sure how to reproduce it but I've seen it happen a bunch of times.

I know how to reproduce it. Screw around with the gunsight with no radar lock or a radar lock that’s far away. Ive never seen this happen when there is radar lock on target within 1 nm.

I have only noticed it while being in dog fight mode and have the gun selected. Mostly because i have lost the lock and re-acquired it again. It seems to only happen with the gun in an non a-g configuration

I’ve had this happen a lot when I used to use SSLC for the gunsight. Never was able to find out why it ever did that and I kinda just accepted that it did. I suspect it was the “snake” getting too long and basically just merging with itself infinitely until the/a target got within range.
