DanKurt Posted January 7, 2009 Posted January 7, 2009 I am sure this has been mentioned before, but I could not find it. After re arm at base I was unable release weapons when on Auto. If I switched to manual control of weapons then I was able to release but no laser guidance. Tried switching and resetting laser but no joy. Anyone else experienced this problem.

miguez Posted January 7, 2009 Posted January 7, 2009 Before re-arm set Master Arm OFF and Laser STBY OFF I haven't tried this yet, but if it works, it would actually make sense, meaning when you are coming in onto the FARP, you should definitely have your Master Arm OFF. Having the laser off is a good safety measure too, I think.
Slayer Posted January 7, 2009 Posted January 7, 2009 If you do a rearm you may as well wait for the 2 or 3 minutes to elapse so you get repaired. If memory serves me right, when it repairs, all your switches etc get set back to defaults. I have not waited several times , only to fly back out and not have a working laser. Very frustrating. ThunderChief Posted January 7, 2009 Posted January 7, 2009 Not exactly the same problem, but after getting a new helicopter (FARP repair) I couldn't rearm / refuel. It seemed as I couldn't contact maintenance for some reason. It only worked after taking off and landing again. Would be nice if anyone could try this and maybe confirm it. It happend in the convoy hunting mission.
Bulletstop Posted January 8, 2009 Posted January 8, 2009 I am having a similar problem and I will tell the steps I go thru prior to landing at the farp and after I take off. Step 1, I empty my mags and I turn off master arm and kill the weapons power. I also set the laser from stndby to off. Step 2, report inb to farp, go thru all landing procedure, lights and gear. Step 3 land at farp, kill engines power completely down to a cold start position. Step 4 after getting the preset for light the p, I turn on the radio's and request re-arm and re-fuel. once complete I ask for permission to light the fires and go thru the complete checklist for start up. Step 5 I arm every thing but the master arm and head to way point for engagement, while in route kill lights and hit master arm. Step 6 set up in position un- cage shival and seek targets. I hit auto turn and moving ground target and select inboard pylons. I have the seeker locked to a target at 5.5 km and have the reticle aligned and no go, no weapons launch. I can shoot manual but auto is a no go. I do have the track and if need to I will upload the track if requested. Symbolagy is correct and I am within weapons range so at this point I have no idea what is wrong. This is also a made mission. Bullet I7 4790K running at 4390 with a gigabyte board with 16 gigs of ram with an Asus gtx 660-ti and 2 tb of hard drive space on 2 wd hard drives. A X-65F Hotas with trackir4 and pro combat peddles. A kick butt home built machine unfortunately running a windows 7 OS.
