TOViper Posted October 7, 2022 Posted October 7, 2022 Hey folks! Just asking, are you currently experiencing problems with TRK files and the Viggen? Long time ago they worked, then they were broken, last info I have is they work ... Please just post if you are sure about what you are talking (e.g. you have used TRK files successfully these days ...) MYSE1234 Posted October 7, 2022 Posted October 7, 2022 The track files I've been using/making while tuning a coming mod seem to be working well, no issues experienced while using them; They seem adequately accurate for my needs currently. 1 1 Viggen is love. Machalot Posted October 9, 2022 Posted October 9, 2022 (edited) Last I tried, there is an issue with track files loading the wrong cartridge if it was a cartridge other than the mission default. This is because it records and repeats the keystrokes of scrolling and selecting the cartridge in your kneeboard, and there may be a different set of cartridge files on your hard drive when you replay the track versus when you recorded it. p1t1o Posted March 12, 2023 Posted March 12, 2023 I cant remember anytime in the last decade when a TRK file worked for me. Recently got back into the Viggen after a while away from DCS, tested the TRK system again and my Viggen immediately taxi'd off the tarmac, got stuck, waggled its rudder a bit (which were the commands to steer onto the runway) and then attempted to take off and fly its mission whilst still stuck in mud. Is TRK accuracy in any way related to FPS or CPU?
