HELSISIMMER is a great website dedicated exclusively to helicopter simulators. Please take the opportunity and support the site. We helicopter pilots are a very small group of simulator pilots and can use all the support we can get. CHPL Posted December 7, 2022 Author Share Posted December 7, 2022 DCS UH-1 CAMPAIGN / STORM FRONT - Preview 3 It is not without reason that the requirements for training and obtaining a license are exceptionally high when it comes to instrument flying. Flying and navigating by instruments is one of aviation's most demanding and dangerous things. Still true today when many things are automated and computer-controlled. So all these things we don't have in our UH-1. Mission 8 in the upcoming STORM FRONT Campaign is probably the dumbest idea ever. Currently, we have all 12 missions of the new UH-1 campaign STORMFRONT available for ED to test. Not so, despite testing and improving, we continue. The most significant chunk we are still working on is the documentation. This should meet high standards and be available in all three languages from the beginning. This still means a lot of work, but as long as the sky doesn't fall on our heads, we are confident that we will be able to complete all the work by the end of October. We will keep you up to date Bonne nouvelle pour tous les pilotes d'hélicoptères. Actuellement, nous avons mis à disposition les 12 missions de la nouvelle campagne UH-1 STORMFRONT pour ED afin de les tester. Malgré tout, nous continuons à tester et à améliorer. Le plus gros morceau sur lequel nous travaillons encore est la documentation. Celle-ci ne doit pas seulement répondre à des normes élevées, mais aussi être disponible dans les trois langues dès le début. Cela signifie encore beaucoup de travail, mais tant que le ciel ne nous tombe pas sur la tête, nous avons bon espoir de pouvoir terminer tous les travaux d'ici la fin octobre. Dies bedeutet noch einiges an Arbeit, solange uns aber nicht der Himmel auf den Kopf fällt sind wir guter Dinge alle Arbeiten bis ende Oktober abschliessen zu können. CHPL Posted October 27, 2023 Author Share Posted October 27, 2023 IT IS DONE Even if not all of our questions were answered by ED, we handed over the complete campaign, including a 77-page manual and mission description in English, to ED a few hours ago. A French and a German version of the manual are in the works and will probably be available before they publish the campaign. Besides all relevant information about the campaign, the manual explains the available help. Also, a clear warning to all gamers who want to get a quick and easy hit precedes the manual to prevent false expectations and disappointments.
