Oreo147 Posted October 9, 2022 Posted October 9, 2022 (edited) Hey all! I noticed the green tint of the front windscreen of both the F-14A and -B extends beyond the windscreen bars, when moving the camera very far left or right. See the attached screenshot. It happens every time the light hits the canopy in such a way the green tint becomes visible. This minor bug is present in the latest OB (2.7.18.30765). I hope this is clear enough, if not please let me know I'll happily provide more information! Edited October 9, 2022 by Oreo147 Typo 4
Oreo147 Posted November 22, 2022 Author Posted November 22, 2022 Any chance of seeing this fixed any time soon? The bug is still present in the latest 2.8 OB unfortunately
DSplayer Posted November 23, 2022 Posted November 23, 2022 I've noticed this as well but only with SSAO turning on. Once I turned it off, I didn't notice it. Interesting, but for me it also happens with SSAO off, in the screenshot above SSAO is off in fact Edited November 23, 2022 by Oreo147

Oreo147 Posted May 5, 2023 Author Posted May 5, 2023 I would like to add to this bug report that I found the issue disappears when the HUD brightness is set all the way to 0. Something must be up with the HUD texture extending beyond the limitations of the front windscreen. As of latest OB both ST and MT

Oreo147 Posted May 23, 2024 Author Posted May 23, 2024 *Bump* Unfortunately this is still an issue in the latest DCS version, I understand most of you have been very busy with the (excellent) F-4E launch, but I'd greatly appreciate if this could be looked at. The Tomcat still deserves some love even if the Phantom is in the spotlight now 1
Pew Pew Bom Posted January 16 Posted January 16 I tried to fix it by modify texture files but doesn't work. This bug not about texture out of bounds, just show & disappear with HUD brightness function.
RustBelt Posted January 16 Posted January 16 Meaning it’s a Light feature, meaning it isn’t an easy fix because dcs cockpit lighting and the F-14 are barely on speaking terms.
