This is probably not that important in the grand scheme of things, but....

Has anybody noticed that the Shark's Landing light never seems to cast much light on the terrain, compared to buildings and other objects? It is practically invisible on the terrain at dusk, yet buildings up to a kilometer away light up like flares. Is there a setting in a config file somewhere that allows this to be adjusted?

The reason I ask about the map area is because the intensity of light reflected by the terrain depends on the local terrain elevation above sea level. E.g. your red strobe beacon will have a nice, bright beam on airports by the coast, but be much dimmer or even invisible further inland. The same does not apply to 3D objects, all of which reflect light equally everywhere. So, I suspect you may be seeing this discrepancy, but not exactly sure.
