Does George evade incoming missiles?

Hi everyone,

When George is pilot and you are Gunner in H-B mode trying to lase a target, (or any mode for that matter), will he automatically evade an incoming missile and fire flares without you telling him to?

I haven't used him as pilot properly yet. I usually do everything from the pilot seat and just get him to search for and lase targets for me.

I know when I'm in the pilot seat you don't have a lot of time to move out of a Stingers path and fire off flares, so I can't imagine how long it will take George to bug out if we come under attack.

No, unfortunately not (yet).

George pilot currently just sits there, frozen, staring at the incoming missile or tracers, until he gets hit in the face 

 

But, luckily, ED already stated this will improve in the future and current George AI is still very much WIP.
